Art Til Dark

So my show last saturday was better than I thought it was going to be. I went into it thinking it would just be a good day to practice - setting up, etc. But ended up having a beautiful day with fellow artist and even selling some work :)

Probably the highlight of the day were these 2 things. #1 being next to my new friend Lynda Stephens of Johnnie Mae candles who ironically a few years ago I was suppose to buy candles for my shop in Asheville but it never worked out - and since then she has changed the name of her candles and I didn't even realize who she was until we introduced ourselves. We had never met in person, only talked on the phone. But we had a great day together and plan to do more fun events together and even coffee! #2 someone coming up to my booth and saying "hey you are one of my favorites on etsy" - still smiling over that one :)

So here are some photos - not that great, just cell phone pics, but I wanted to atleast add them to my blog.

So glad to hear the success of the event. I was unable to make it, but by the pictures your setup looked great! I was wondering if there is anyway you could do a onesie for me by St. Patty's Day, March 17. It is for a friend who is expecting. I know that is late notice so,let me know your honest opinion. Thank you so much!

Hey Brittany,

If you read this - let me know what onesie you want - and I would be more than happy to do that for you! XOXO

That looks like so much fun! Those smaller, more intimate craft shows can really be a nice way to relax and meet people while selling stuff at the same time. Your setup looks cute, too!

Yeah I really enjoy the small shows - it is like catching up with old friends and making money at the same time! Gotta love that!
