So.....a while back I did my very first trade for a felt stuffed doggie - which I cherish. However, Nellie wanted it right off the bat...even went and jumped up on the bed and retrieved it off the nightstand. Well I thought a great idea would be to get a stuff version for her very own...even with a squeaker. So my friend Sarah owner of Little Monsters hooked Nellie up.
SO here are pictures....the small doggie on the left is the original - and the one on the right is Nellie's very own doggie :)
And look at the details - Nellie's Version even has a N on it! And look at the Happy Birthday Birthday tag!
XOXO Sarah - thanks so much!
a very happy Nellie....

Have I told you about my parents?
I don't think I have...and they are the REASON I am doing what I do....they have been my inspiration and motivation my whole life. My parents have had me playing artist as long as I can remember. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world...for my childhood alone. I was a craft show kid....I got to go to all the craft shows - and even though I might have complained at the time - looking back on it, I couldn't have had more fun. Because of them I have been collecting art for YEARS. I have seen some of the most talented artist and become friends with them - thanks to my parents. I was lucky enough when I came home from school in the afternoon both my parents were home....ready to play and be creative. They have worked hard my whole life being artists, doing what they love. Doing only art shows - full time! They are the hardest workers I know...but also 2 people who genuinely LOVE what they do. I hope one day to be as talented as they are....but for now I just have amazing people to look up to.
Thanks Mom and Daddy Bob - your little girl loves you and thanks you for being her inspiration to create art...everyday.
And for those of you who haven't seen their work - here are just some of our collection of Wells Metals by Robert and Dolores Wells. BTW - the pics don't do them justice - you have to see them in real life!

Art Til Dark Round 2
What a beautiful day - and wow how thankful am I that Art Til Dark was postponed until Sunday - because my goodness Saturday was pure YUCK! So Sunday brought sunny weather and wonderful people. Again the highlight of my day was the visit of many friends and meeting new friends!!!
I was next to my friend Lynda again from Johnnie Mae Candles and other great finds like journals she makes out of old books! TOO awesome! My friend Beth Gumnick was there showing off her incredible art....which I found out on Sunday that I am one of her biggest collectors :) She started my dog art obsession!!! Thanks Beth! Another artist I love and keep trying to figure out which piece I want to buy is Michael Jenkins - and you can find his work at Winder Binder.
I have several friends and family come by and visit! And had 2 wonderful highlights of my day....
Brittany and Jimmy came by with Ada who is one of the sweet little babies I have had the honor of making a onesie for :) Well Brittany and Jimmy brought her by with her onesie one (Brittany took photos, that I will post when I get my hands on them). She is the sweetest little baby girl and only 5 weeks old. So after picking up their custom onesie for a friend of theirs:
They came back because they had forgotten to take a picture of me holding Ada in her onesie....oh my goodness - I seriously almost cried. It makes me realize why I do what I do. Thank you Brittany and Jimmy for coming by and sharing that moment with me. You have a beautiful family.
Next was meeting my friends Rich and Heather Smith (of Rich Smith Photography) - Rich took photos of Ada and my friend's baby Foy that I have posted pics about before. Here is a refresher :)
He is a fabulous photographer and we had only talked online until the show. So it was wonderful meeting such a beautiful family in person. They stayed awhile and hung out, took some great photos (check out there blog) and even bought a piece of Ivey Handcrafted's. I felt very fortunate to meet Rich, Heather and Alana - and can't wait to hang out with them soon!!! I love meeting new friends! Thanks Rich and Heather for coming by and meeting me! It was wonderful!
So it was a great day - even made some sales :)
So here is one last shot of my booth....again not great photos but check out my AWESOME new sign that my mom and I made! XOXO

Goodness Custom
So I have lots of custom work to do! I am so excited about this - because I really do love making special things for people! So I have 4 custom onesies, 1 custom toddler tshirt, and 6 new hairclips to add to some existing hairclips for a wholesale order in Huntsville, Al.
So all these custom orders are inspiring me and I will be sure to post pics when they are all done.
Thanks for reading - I love hearing from all of you....I write this blog thinking no one reads it, so when I see that people do it really makes me smile!
XOXO ♥
This is a photo of baby Ada - I love how when I make these I just hold up the onesie and think that looks cute, it is so tiny - then when I see them on the baby - it swallows them :) I love this pic I took from Ada's mom's blog :)

Art Til Dark
So my show last saturday was better than I thought it was going to be. I went into it thinking it would just be a good day to practice - setting up, etc. But ended up having a beautiful day with fellow artist and even selling some work :)
Probably the highlight of the day were these 2 things. #1 being next to my new friend Lynda Stephens of Johnnie Mae candles who ironically a few years ago I was suppose to buy candles for my shop in Asheville but it never worked out - and since then she has changed the name of her candles and I didn't even realize who she was until we introduced ourselves. We had never met in person, only talked on the phone. But we had a great day together and plan to do more fun events together and even coffee! #2 someone coming up to my booth and saying "hey you are one of my favorites on etsy" - still smiling over that one :)
So here are some photos - not that great, just cell phone pics, but I wanted to atleast add them to my blog.
